As the newly appointed general manager of The Kahala Hotel & Resort, Joe Ibarra is responsible for overseeing operational aspects of the 338-room property, as well as guiding strategic direction and financial performance. Ibarra brings nearly 20 years of experience to the role, including prior management positions at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa. But even before that, the hospitality industry played a prominent part in his life, as his father worked for Marriott International for 30 years.
