ANA (All Nippon Airways) 'Aha Mele 2023 Event at Gunstock Ranch

ʻAha Mele festival is sponsored by ANA (All Nippon Airways) to connect with the people of Hawaii through music and to continue protecting Hawaii's culture and environment.  Inspiring world-renowned Japanese pianist Noboyuki Tsuji  was this year's featured musician.  He and participants from Japan's ʻAha Mele tour planted milo and other native Hawaiian trees to help bring back the biodiversity. 

Our warming climate conditions and drought brings the threat of wildfires fueled by invasive grasses and plants.  Scientists are looking at native Hawaiian trees and shrubs as their firebreak strategy for protection against fires and invasive species that can threaten our island environment.  Mahalo, ANA, for making Hawaii a better place for everyone!
